Finally have time to startup the DXF-4. What are the preliminary steps to watch for and what are the initial settings for the water injection ? How do we determine that the right amount of water is being injected?

Helpful, Thank you. Also, can you add more fuel on the fly while it's running, like I can with the chip gasifier?..Of course with caution when opening the hopper lid ? Good things to know before running it. I also imagine that you don't want to run it out of fuel as it will damage the hearth.
Just one of the benefits of using a gasifier to charge a battery bank... You can shut down to refuel while drawing power from the batteries. The firewood season is starting very early this year, wish I had time to play with the DXF-4 . So looking forward to intergrating it into our system.
